About the Position: The incumbent will serve as a Supply Technician for the Classroom Services Branch of the Logistics Division, Leader Development and Education, CAC. NOTE: This position is eligible for situational telework only.

Duties

This list of duties is not all-inclusive: Analyze requirements for new or replacement office equipment, furniture, supplies, materials, and services. Develop long-range plans by anticipating future needs. Initiate procurement of needed furniture, supplies, materials, and services. Prepare justification for purchases as required. Research supply sources to locate sources for scarce or special items. Ensure all supplies, equipment, furniture, etc. are stored properly and safely. Maintain all display cases throughout the Command and General Staff College (CGSC) campus. Serve as alternate safety officer. Assist with snow removal as necessary.

Requirements

  • This position has a lifting requirement of up to 50 pounds.
  • This position may require temporary duty (TDY) for up to 5% of the time for business.
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires a pre-employment physical and annual physical examinations thereafter.
  • The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a valid, state-issued, driver's license.

NOTE: Applicants must meet all Time-in-Grade requirements and experience requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
