Duties

In addition to the duties performed by the Custodial Worker NA-3566-1, DA Job Number AL 783, incumbent. Receives group work assignments, assign immediate tasks to Custodial Workers led and gets work started. Checks work in progress and when finished to ensure rooms meet established standards. Assists Custodial Workers with cumbersome or difficult tasks. Assures safety and housekeeping rules are followed. Ensures that supplies and equipment are available for the work group, reports insufficiencies and other problems to the supervisor. Assists in training Custodial Workers; demonstrates proper work methods; explains rules and procedures to follow; answers questions and explains written instructions. Reports progress and training needs to supervisor.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2. to include a physical.
• Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
• Requires special event set up duties in all type of weather conditions.

Qualifications
