These TERM positions are located in Haleakala National Park, in the Facility Management Division. Open to the first 50 applicants or until 04/12/2024 whichever comes first. Duties

These are term positions (more than 1 year) with an initial appointment expecting to last at least 13 months but may be extended up to a total of four years based on the original start date of the term projects. One term position has 157 weeks, 6 days remaining on the original 4 years (a little over 3 years remaining). The other term position has 187 weeks, 6 days remaining on the original 4 years (3 years and close to 8 months remaining). Term positions do not convey permanent status in the Federal service. MAJOR DUTIES: Maintains existing trails and constructs new trails and trail features. Safely uses hand tools and power tools Operates a light truck to pickup supplies and transport materials to and from work sites while assisting on the project work. Frequently camps overnight in remote wilderness locations.
