Duties

The PMO provides program and acquisition management for the systems and capabilities that modernize and sustain the National Airspace System (NAS) to advance NAS programs from concept to operation while providing technical support for air traffic control automation and decision support systems. This position is assigned to one of the following organizations within the PMO: Integrated Services and Analysis, AJM-1; Air Traffic Systems, AJM-2; Enterprise Services, AJM-3; and Surveillance Services Directorate, AJM-4.

Qualifications

Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (FV-J or FG/GS-14) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as:Experience managing a multi-disciplined team that oversees, at the organizational level, budget formulation, financial execution, personnel-related activities, training development, and cybersecurity efforts,; OR/ANDExperience applying the Acquisition Management System principles to monitor the performance of contracts and provide technical and programmatic advice to program managers and contracting officers,; OR/ANDExperience in managing cybersecurity and privacy principles related to organizational and program requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, and non-repudiation),;OR/ANDYou should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
