About the Position: The installation rests in the beautiful 'hill and lake' country of Central Texas between Killeen and Copperas Cove and is approximately 60 miles north of the capital city of Austin, 50 miles south of Waco, 160 miles south of Dallas, and 150 miles north of San Antonio.

Duties

Serve as the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization (DPTMS) Security Statistical Assistant for service performance and readiness data collection and database management. Serve as the central point of contact for the Installation Status Report (ISR), Performance Assessment Review (PAR), Strategic Management System (SMS) and all other databases to support service performance and readiness reporting. Analyze data to identify trends or shortfalls in meeting service support performance and readiness goals. Manipulate the software to prepare/organize briefing slides. Provide directorate personnel advice and assistance on the following areas: communications, automation, and visual information.

  • This position requires the incumbent to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

OR Education: Two years (i.e., 60 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Data Analytics or Statistics. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond one year (total semester hours minus 18) by 9. Add the two percentages. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
