You will serve as a Naval Collection Managers Course and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Instructor of INFOWARTRACMD VIRGINIA BEACH VA.

Duties

You will monitor student progress and maintains necessary training records. You will provide Quality assurance on contractor developed course materials. You will plan and develop curricula and training material for classes/training sessions in the instruction on Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Collection Management practices and methodologies. You will instruct in advanced intelligence courses. You will make decisions/recommendations on basic content, organization, and interpretation of materials presented and, on the balance, or intermix of such elements as lecture, discussion, illustration, demonstration, or Interactive Multimedia.

  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing knowledge and experience with military & civilian training program processes, or training program processes in parallel business and industry organizations; 2) Developing course materials and instruction methods, principles, and techniques in order to maintain training courses and conduct quality assurance reviews on training reports; 3) Evaluating identified training discrepancies for assigned courses using accepted approaches, models and tools; 4) Using audio-visual equipment and automation software, including Microsoft Office programs; 5) Conducting training in classroom/seminar setting; 6) Providing knowledge of skills with Collection Management Authority, Collection Requirements, and Operations Management; 7) Providing knowledge and experience with various operations (i.e., OPORDS/OPTASKS Familiarization, Electronic Intelligence (ELINT), Communication Intelligence (COMINT), Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT), etc.).
