Moore is located in the "Tri-Community" comprised of Columbus and Ft. Benning, GA; and Phoenix City, AL. Columbus (third-largest city in Georgia) is a growing community.

Duties

Serve as the senior Information Management Officer (IMO) for the Directorate. Perform information management program management functions. Manage risk management framework, cyber security, and accreditation. Principal information systems staff advisor and subject matter expert (SME).

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance.
  • This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter.
  • This position has a requirement to lift up to 50 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.
  • The employee will be required to work some overtime, both scheduled and unscheduled.
  • The employee will be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays occasionally.
  • Call back and emergency duty are regular requirements of this position, therefore employee will have assigned on-call periods of time.
  • The employee may be required to work shift work if the organization moves to a 24/7 operation for short-term or long-term operations.
  • This position has been designated "Mission Essential".
  • Employee may be required to use cellular telephone and maintain a working telephone at all times.
  • This is an Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program position.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
