This position is located at Samuel Adams Brewhouse. Duties

Operates a small full-service bar, mixing and serving the full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages Records sales, makes change or prepares charge slips in accordance with operating procedures. Stocks bar. Keeps bar, utensils, equipment and work area clean and sanitary Keeps records of quantities of beverages dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor. Receives and checks quantity and description of stock Uses tact and courtesy to deny further sales to persons whose conduct has become unruly or who appear to be intoxicated. Skill in mixing drinks. Applies simple arithmetic in calculating bills and making change Regularly lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 pounds. Occasionally lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds. Stands for prolonged periods.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be available to work evenings, nights, and weekend.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
• Must be at least 20 years old at the time of appointment.

Qualifications

1. Must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic at the time of appointment. (20 years old) 2. Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds. 3. Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory. 4. Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. 5. Ability to monitor and direct the work of other bar staff.
