Duties

Serves as Garrison Resource Management Officer with authority and responsibility to direct, coordinate, and provide advice and assistance to the Garrison Commander and staff for resource management activities. Provides financial management, budget services, manpower/management analysis, program management, and Commercial Activities programs that are integrated with and designed to promote efficiency and economy in execution of the Garrison's mission. The Resource Management Officer's functional responsibility involves total operating program activities assigned to the garrison and satellite activities. Oversees the total operating budget program consisting of separate and distinct budget programs and appropriations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes serving as the senior resource management officer responsible for financial management, internal controls, and manpower/management analysis. Experience in financial administration, revenues and collections processes, policies, procedures, written instructions and internal controls associated with administering a budget. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Financial ManagementOral CommunicationProject ManagementWritten Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13). Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements and minimum qualification requirements prescribed by OPM within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
