About the Position: This position is located with U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 404th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center at Fort Devens, MA.

Duties

Perform as a Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) with responsibility for representing the Contracting Officer in verifying/assuring total provisions, conditions and specifications of laundry and dry cleaning contract. Evaluate services provided by Contractor by comparing them with established criteria (contract provisions and/or military regulations) and prepares checklists and reports reflecting findings. Provide overall assistance and guidance to all customers in accordance with US Army Reserve Command, US Army Forces Command, and Department of Army regulations. Maintain quality assurance files and records in accordance with established procedures.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
  • Incumbent may be required to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Irregular hours of work may occasionally be required (including evening and/or weekend hours).
