Duties

Works under close supervision or a higher graded supervisor of higher grade who provides specific instructions for tasks to be performed. Takes orders from patrons for food and beverages. Ensures customers are satisfied in service provided and takes action to correct any problems. Presents menus to patrons and answers questions about menu items. Prepares checks that itemize and total meal costs. Maintains sales record. Removes dishes and glasses and wipes down tables and counters. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, to include a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI).
• Must be able to work during the hours of operation to include nights and weekends.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods as well as continually lifting and carrying items weighing less than 10 pounds.
• The dual compensation guidelines DO NOT apply to this position. All GS and NAF employees whether fulltime or part time are eligible to apply for this position.
