This announcement will be used for the Hiring Event at the Eglin Golf Course (1527 Fairway Dr. in Niceville) on 13 MARCH 2024 from 0830-1400. This position will be assigned to the Eglin AFB Fisher House. Those who apply by March 7 may be scheduled for an interview the day of the hiring event.

Duties

1. Cleans guest rooms and exchanges bed linen after each check out. Exchanges in-house guest bath towels/hand towels/washcloths/bath mats, clean for dirty, as needed. Exchanges bed spreads/coverlets as needed. Cleans, disinfects, sanitizes, and deodorizes toilet bowls, sinks, medicine cabinets, mirrors, bathtubs/showers, trashcans, and floors after check outs and as needed. 2. Cleans all walls, floors, windows (inside and out), vents, pictures, blinds, and partitions using vacuums, brooms, mops, ladders, floor scrubbers, and carpet cleaning machines throughout the house. Dusts and polishes all furnishings, ledges, wood work, light fixtures, and all other dust collecting surfaces. May be required to move furniture, such as tables and chairs, to clean all areas. Vacuums and spot cleans carpeted floors and upholstery using approved fabric spray bottles. 3. Uses a ladder to change light bulbs throughout the house, including guest rooms. 4. Maintains storerooms and other common areas in a clean and orderly fashion. Maintains proper levels of cleaning supplies, and requests replenishment by management when necessary. Maintains and makes minor/simple repairs to cleaning equipment and reports any major repairs needed to the manager for further action. 6. Performs seasonal tasks as required; such as: shoveling snow, applying ice control material to the entrances of buildings, picking up litter around the building and parking lots, using a leaf blower to clear yard debris from porches and patios, etc. 7.
