About the Position: The Alaska District is seeking to fill a Forward Program Manager position located in the Military Branch of the Programs and Projects Management Division. An ideal candidate will have strong experience managing projects or a background in construction management. Candidate must be able to resolve conflicts, display critical thinking, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Duties

Administer assigned Program and as such is responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned programs and projects. Coordinates the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations, etc., for a complex highly visible program and specific project deliverables of considerable scope and complexity. Controls and manages program and project milestones and budgets from planning through construction and closeout. Utilizes automation tools such as CEFMS, P2 and RMS to collect, analyze and display project information. Speaks with the authority of the Branch Chief and the Deputy for Programs and Project Management at conferences and meetings on program issues including those of a critical or controversial nature during the life of the projects.
