Duties

Responsible for projects, questions, or problems that arise within the Depot's Quality Assurance program as defined by management. Serve as the Quality Assurance Specialist and Warranty Coordinator. Coordinate Warranty work with controller and mission areas, entering information regarding the Warranty. Perform Root Cause Analysis by compiling and analyzing Quality data utilizing those computerized databases supplied by higher command. Provide technical and administrative guidance to other Quality Assurance (QA) specialists involved in various aspects of the QA program within their scope of responsibility.

OR Superior Academic Achievement: Superior Academic Achievement: Successful completion of all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. In order to be creditable under this provision, Superior Academic Achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled, such as that identified in Education above. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
