You will serve as a TRAINING AND READINESS ANALYST in the FORCE READINESS BRANCH of MARFORCOM NORFOLK.

Duties

You will coordinate unit attendance at T and R conferences and lead preparatory meetings. You will synchronize the naval training standards with US Fleet Forces. You will provide MARFORCOM functional input into the development and refinement of systems of record relating to unit training standards. You will shape the development of aviation unit training programs and policies, and their implementation across the command. You will provide assistance and site visits to train unit staffs on training management processes and metrics, gather input on required changes, and identify process improvements.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• Must possess and maintain valid state driver’s license.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: coordinating training exercises, developing and accessing joint exercise requirements and objectives, coordinating exercise budget requirements AND developing operational policies and procedures to meet operational requirements.
