Duties

Please Note: Employees will be required to report to their assigned office location at least 2 day per week for non-supervisory positions and 3 days per week for supervisory/managerial positions unless the position advertised is designated as a remote-only position. This position is located under the Administrative Services Division (ASD) and reports directly to the Deputy Chief Management Officer. The Administrative Services Division is responsible for directing a program that provides the following administrative services to EXIM: facility and capital planning, physical and personnel security, travel, and interagency logistics. The incumbent serves as the VP of ASD and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of the Division. The VP of ASD leads and manages ASD programs for EXIM and provides leadership, direct supervision, and management support to a team of supervisors, professional and administrative staff; Develops and/or implements major planning, evaluation or monitoring of long/short range operational plans, resource requirements and/or budgets for ASD; Continually monitors and evaluates budget, fiscal, and administrative controls to manage ASD's programs and services. Duties include, but are not limited to: Directs and coordinates logistics support work for EXIM through subordinate supervisors, professional staff and technical personnel. Manages and supervises subordinate supervisors and a team of technical and administrative staff. Exercises independent judgment and leadership in accomplishing overall program goals and objectives, anticipating problem areas, and establishing new or improved techniques to address these challenges. Poses knowledge of rules and regulations governing property accountability, logistics, security, travel and government finance/budget in order to supervise these key functions.

  • The incumbent for this position will be subject to random drug testing once they begin working for EXIM.

Qualifications

Specialized Experience (Credit for Specialized Experience on resume must reflect 40 hours/Full-time per week for each period of work): GS-15: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal Government or other equivalent pay systems. Specialized experience includes: Experience in gathering, assembling, and analyzing complex data and material, including identifying key issues, drawing sound conclusions, and developing authoritative recommendations and approaches for unique and sensitive issues and problem; Experience in independently managing or conducting technical projects utilizing the principles, concepts, procedures, operations policies, and techniques applicable to the various fields of personnel administration, organizational management; AND Experience developing annual budget requirements, responding to budget data calls, and monitoring budget spending for an organization. Education cannot be substituted for experience at the GS-15 grade level.
