The F&E Lead Logistics Management Specialist position is responsible for ensuring that the FAA Logistics Center maintains consistency in processes and systems used by Facilities & Equipment (F&E) inventory management (IM) personnel at the FAA Logistics Center.

Duties

Serves as the designated focal point on all issues common to the F&E IM function. Performs multiple, varying and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a Manager, Project/Program Manager, Team Leader, or more experienced professional. May act as a contributing specialist on large work activities or as a Project Manager or Team Leader for large projects/programs/activities. A key responsibility of this role will be to work closely with LCSS representatives to ensure the system accurately, efficiently and effectively facilities the execution of F&E processes.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required
  • One-year probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

TO QUALIFY AT THE FV-I (FG-13) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess one (1) year of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FV-H (GS/FG-12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience includes experience leading small project/program teams; designing and recommending solutions to complex problems; performing data analysis to monitor and measure process performance; providing comprehensive information, guidance, interpretation, and advice on policy, procedures, regulations, issues and trends on all matters relative to the support of the National Air Space System (NAS) and/or organizational agencies equipment and programs; analyzes various automated systems and data to evaluate audit reports, regulations, and other relevant material as a basis for developing and implementing division guides or procedures; prepares financial projections.Applicants should provide examples of Specialized Experience in their Work History. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
