This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Asst Secretary for Housing-Federal Housing Commissioner. Duties

As a/an Supervisory Management Analyst, you will: Provide technical advice to Housing managers and employees to ensure that policies, processes and procedures are most effective. Conduct analytical studies, such as analyses of the impact of anticipated and actual changes in staffing patterns on immediate and long-range planning. Manage and coordinate Headquarters initiatives, including preparation of Departmental clearance packages; information collections to OMB and coordination liaison with the Department. Supervise and guide staff assigned to the Division, establishes their general work priorities and evaluates their performance.

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: For the GS-15 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: - Managing a wide range of Division programs such as training and talent development; AND - Contributing to the analysis and development of major training policies; AND - Evaluating workforce development trends by developing and monitoring employee career paths; AND - Supervising and guiding subordinate staff, establishing their general work priorities, evaluating their performance, and providing recommendations for improvement. Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-15 you must have been at the GS-14 level for 52 weeks. Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.
