Duties

Maintain all 6 pools by checking and adjusting pool chemistry, inspecting, and adjusting pool filtration and heating systems, maintain pool pumps and motors. Facility and building maintenance to include but not limited to, cleaning boiler and chemical rooms. Minor plumbing and facility repair. Maintain accurate record keeping in accordance with EPA, Fort Bliss, and MWR requirements to include health and safety record, maintenance logs, water chemistry logs. Maintain an inventory and reordering of pool equipment and supplies across entire aquatics facilities. Maintain all safety checklists and attend safety briefings and audits with collateral duty safety officers.

Requirements

• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilitiesc
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Must be willing and able to work early mornings and nights, to include weekends if necessary.

Qualifications

Work experience in pool maintenance and general maintenance work. This includes knowledge of automated water quality standards and computer use as relates to automated pool maintenance. **This announcement is announced as Best Qualified.
