About the Position: Serve as a Supply Management Specialist for the Organizational Clothing and Individual Equipment Central Management Office (OCIE CMO) with US Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command (TACOM).

Duties

Optimize the position of system-wide assets. Direct the disposal of obsolete or excess assets in coordination with the installation and the Defense Reutilization Management Service (DRMS). Monitor inventory levels throughout the supply chain and eliminates excess. Coordinate with external stakeholders in the OCIE supply chain to ensure efficient flow of material. Resolve issues of priority, requirements, and funding. Work with automated property accounting systems, financial systems, and requisitioning systems, to ensure Total Asset Visibility, data accuracy, and proper management controls. Analyze data to evaluate supply system performance and to resolve supply issues. Troubleshoot and resolve requisitioning problems and train installation-level workers in proper requisitioning procedures and property accounting requirements.

  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret (Tier 3) Clearance level.
