About the Position: Fort Eisenhower is in Augusta, Georgia, home of the Masters Golf Tournament and the Cyber Center of Excellence. It is approximately 142 miles east of Atlanta, 80 miles southwest of Columbia, South Carolina and 122 miles northwest of Savannah, Georgia. .

Duties

Serves as the Law Enforcement Reports (LER) Administrator for the Fort Gordon Police Department and DES. Serves as trainer for police officers in preparing LERs. Manages the Suspension of Installation Privileges. Assists walk-in customers and telephone callers.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position requires a secret clearance.
  • Position has a TDY requirement of 10%.
  • Position may require overtime.
  • Must maintain State and Federal training in accessing, safeguarding, processing, and disseminating protected information.
  • This is a drug testing position.

Specialized Experience GS07: One year of specialized experience which includes accessing, retrieving, and verifying criminal history data, weapon registration data, driving revocation and suspension data, and Law Enforcement Reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: ConscientiousnessCustomer Service (Clerical/Technical)Integrity/HonestyInterpersonal Skills Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-5 for the GS-6 position, and GS-6 for the GS-7 position.).
