About the Position: In the Directorate of Depot Operations, serves as an expert in Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) expert with regards to Traffic Management, distribution, shipping, receiving, Supply Chain Management, production, Bill of Materials (BOM), demilitarization of munitions and route transaction.

Duties

Perform and monitor the focus on Traffic Management, distribution, shipping, receiving, Supply Chain Management, production, Bill of Materials (BOM), maintenance and demilitarization of munitions. Develop instructional and operational procedures for LMP processes. Create, revise and monitor movements of ammunition to include research of documents by using plano graphs, movement documents and other transactions in LMP to validate status. Track and analyze data to reveal problems/delays and document causes. Coordinate corrective actions when delays are recognized in order to ensure schedules are met and assigned task are accomplished in a timely and efficient manner. Convene with team members and Ammunition Managers to discuss the status of LMP transaction issues related to multiple ongoing processes. Perform LMP functions on demilitarization and maintenance programs to include consumptions and the creating of byproducts. Identify existing and potential problems related to the LMP system by performing troubleshooting techniques.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning system such as Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)/Inventory Management (IM)/Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) to perform a variety of supply/inventory processes including inventory adjustments, material movements, monitoring in/outbound delivery orders. Pulling inventory reject lists and resolving errors in the system. Performing history research on supply transactions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Supply Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Supply PlanningSupply SupportTechnical Data Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
