About the Position: This position serves a a Casualty Assistant in the Directorate of Human Resources, Military Personnel Division at Fort Liberty, North Carolina. Fort Liberty is co-located with Fayetteville, North Carolina, a culturally diverse city. Fort Liberty is know as the "Home of the Airborne and Special Operations.

Duties

Enforce policy and personnel procedures of the Transportation and Travel Order program. Communicate directly with family members of deceased Service members and civilian personnel to express condolences and coordinate all casualty actions. Ensure the accurate and timely reporting of the casualties that occur for assigned area. Perform military personnel management research in conjunction with the Casualty Reporting system. Receive notification of death of veterans with requests for burial honors. Arrange assistance to surviving family members.
