About the Position: This Acquisition Analyst position is located at the U.S. Army Operational Test Command, G4 Contract Management Division, with a duty location of Fort Cavazos, Texas. A relocation incentive may be authorized if it is determined to be in the best interests of the Government.

Duties

Serves as an Acquisition Analyst for the Contract Management Division, G4, U.S. Army Operational Test Command. Provides contract development and contract monitoring support for assigned procurements. Serves as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for contracts when so designated by a Contracting Officer. Analyzes contract performance and make recommendations for revisions as projects proceed through the acquisition life cycle. Provides advice regarding contract strategies to best accomplish the project acquisition plan. Assists in the establishment and functioning of source selection evaluations, to include developing draft source selection plans. Requirements

• A one-year trial/probationary period may be required.
• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) and is subject to applicant testing and random drug testing in accordance with DA guidelines.
• The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Contracting Certification within 36 months of entrance on duty.
• This position is subject to a Temporary Duty or business travel requirement of 25% or less of the time.
