About the Position: This position is located at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Center in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

Register new personnel, receive incoming personnel, and detach outgoing personnel by use of the Defense Travel Administrator (DTA) Maintenance Tool. Prepare statistical data for comparison/trend analysis purposes. Tracks, processes, and records all actions related to travel accounts. Generate various reports to monitor card usage. Provide Government Travel Charge Card (GTCC) cardholder initial and refresher training.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
• This is a Financial Management Level 1 Certified position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
• Qualified typist is required (40 wpm).

Qualifications

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes maintaining traveler profiles, creating and maintaining lines of accounting/budget shells in a travel system, generating financial reports, or knowledge in applying the Joint Travel Regulation as it relates to Travel Systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted
