About the Position: The Fort McCoy Directorate of Public Works (DPW) provides support to units and organizations located on Fort McCoy property. The DPW maintains the installation infrastructure and environment.

Duties

Serve as the focal point for work requests for the Garrison and all installation tenants. Performing a variety of clerical, administrative, budget and associated typing/automation duties relative to processing and managing work request information. Utilize standard office applications and web based information systems, primarily in the General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and Integrated Facilities System (IFS). As the first point of contact, the incumbent is responsible for providing courteous and timely customer service to the various customers serviced by the Directorate of Public Works (DPW).

  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
