This position is part of the Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security and Emergency Response, Department of Energy. As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will be the principal expert authority and advisor to the Deputy Director for Risk Management Tools and Technology (RMT) Division. Position is Remote (Restricted)- Applicants must be located within the local commuting area of Washington, DC which has been established as 125 miles or 2.5 hours.

• This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-14 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following: Applying basic budget management principles and practices (i.e. ability to maintain and manage financial resources); Participating in determining program policies, formulation of policies, development of program plans, designs and issuance of directives and instructions, and the development of recommendations; and Leading a team or project to analyze, evaluate, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of an organization. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations.
