This position is in the Government Accountability Office, Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO). As a Management and Program Analyst (Labor Management Relations) you will be responsible for performing a broad array of labor management relations work duties on initiatives and projects crossing organizational lines (mission and operations) and involve CAO units and other GAO components.

Duties

As a Management and Program Analyst (Labor Management Relations), PT-0343-3, your typical work assignments may include the following: Collect and analyze complex and sensitive information pertaining to labor management relations initiatives and matters subject to bargaining and provide guidance and recommendations to achieve favorable outcomes which facilitate effective and efficient agency operations. Provide analysis, guidance and recommendations on matters pertaining to the agency workforce, programs, policies, Orders, negotiated agreements and change initiatives. Track LMR project status, prepare reports, issue notices, and coordinate and facilitate meetings. Provide research, evaluations and recommendations on EAC or AAB concerns and Union concerns, complaints, requests and appeals.

Qualifications

You may qualify at the BAND III level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year (52 Weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the NEXT LOWER BAND, PT II, PE-IIA, or GS-13 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent, collecting and analyzing complex and sensitive information to labor management relations initiatives; researching, evaluating and providing recommendations to senior management on various Union issues; tracking various projects and reports; analyzing bargaining team data; preparing written reports for implementation on various solutions. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
