Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Program Manager, you will use your knowledge of and experience with the Program Support Center to optimize business results and customer experience by: Assuring that policies, proposals, and plans within the technical areas are accurately and effectively implemented. Assures that program review and evaluation efforts are undertaken to identify problems and determine and improve the effectiveness of existing plans, programs, and policies. Demonstrating overall management responsibilities to exercise the full realm of supervisory authorities. Develops ways and means for handling workload within employment ceilings to insure maximum results. Provides direction through Branch Chiefs, team leaders and group coordinators. Carrying out all planning, problem solving, and evaluations of activities in the areas of administrative operations, financial management, real estate logistics, occupations health and acquisitions. Providing organizational policies and goals. Formulates and coordinates long and short-range goals. Developing, preparing, tracking and maintaining budgets in the fee for service budget model within a shared services provider, with an eye on prospective changes in conditions and with the goal of fully recovering costs and increasing revenue through growth and market share. Carrying out the program mission and meets the needs of its many users. Maintain organization goals and customer satisfaction with products and quality of services. Use of workflow automation to reduce labor needs while increasing the levels of timeliness, customer services, and accuracy. Visits potential customers to present the advantages of purchasing managed services.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Minimum Qualifications: You must have one year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing ALL of the following: 1. Performing analysis of management and program objectives to make recommendations for improvement. 2. Overseeing or managing a budget for an office. 3. Coordinating recruiting, hiring, performance, and employee/labor relations actions for subordinate employees. 4. Assessing program policies and procedures to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of management support in an office.
