This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO- Info Systems and CIO. As a Supervisory IT Program Manager (INFOSEC) (CYBER), you will serve as Director of the National Security and Policy Organization, Office of the Associate Chief Information Officer for Cyber Security (ACIO-CS), Deputy Assistant Secretary and Chief Information Officer.

Duties

As a Supervisory IT Program Manager (INFOSEC) (CYBER), you will: - Advise the CIO, Deputy CIO, ACIO-CS and other senior OCIO leadership in developing, promulgating and implementing objectives, principles, policies, procedures and standards for the Department's cyber security program in accordance with the Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002, OMB Circular A-130, Director of Central Intelligence Directives and NIST/NSA/CNSS security standards and guidelines. - Provide strategic direction for Treasury IT national security and policy-related cyber security activities and management of staff and resources. - Develop and maintains effective relationships with current and potential stakeholders. - Supervise the work of the Organization consisting of Security Analysts, IT Specialists and clerical staff.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-15: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the Federal service, public or other private sectors. Specialized experience includes managing a software development team in order to integrate goals and priorities into programs while balancing change and continuity, business process improvement, and ensuring accountability. Examples of such experience could include hands on experience working with: - Information security and/or IT risk management with a focus on security, performance and reliability architecture, design and implementing Cyber Security tools; OR - Plan architecture changes and help create project management recommendations.; OR - Experience analyzing, reviewing and making recommendations to senior executives regarding policy, programs and procedures that impact the office and organization; OR - Experience working on and managing enterprise scale projects, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects for enterprise wide customers; OR - Developing and implementing a department-wide cybersecurity program; OR - Serving as the senior consultant regarding Information Technology standards and information systems engineering activities. In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Oral Communication: Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving: Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
