About the Position: Serve as a Laborer (Motor Vehicle Operator) at Fort Bliss. Fort Bliss is located in western Texas on the Rio Grande River and sits at the base of the Franklin Mountain Range.

Duties

Perform manual labor using hand tool and power equipment. Operates lawn moves over steep and uneven ground. Trim large branches and shrubs with gasoline powered chain saw. Clean and maintain large rock desert landscaped areas. Load and unload heave crates over 50 lbs, materials, supplies and other items to and from trucks. Use dollies to move heave crates and supplies up and down up to three flights of stairs.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a current state driver's license.
• Incumbent will be required to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
