About the Position: Serve as the Chief of the Military Personnel Division with responsibility for the Military Personnel Management Program. As Human Resources Officer (Military) for the installation, advise the Directorate of Human Resources (DHR) and Deputy to the Garrison Commander (DGC) on military personnel policies and procedures.

Duties

Manage military personnel services for assigned military personnel and family members, to include, personnel processing, casualty operations, ID cards, awards recognition, training, education, evaluation, and promotion programs. Advise the Director of Human Resources (DHR), Deputy to the Garrison Commander (DGC), supported Commands, and Headquarters staff on military personnel policies, and procedures. Responsible for implementation of mobilization plans, systems, and procedures at the installation. Assign, direct, and evaluate work of subordinate organization elements through subordinate supervisors.

Requirements

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position is designated as Key. The position cannot be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the mission.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 10% of the time.
