This position is located at Automotive Skills & Service Center Refusal of a military spouse to participate in established recruitment procedures for a RFT or RPT position (for example, interview) is considered a declination of employment and is a basis for termination of SEP entitlement for the current PCS of the sponsor.

Duties

Responsible for general servicing of privately owned vehicles (POV). Must have ability to properly drain and change lubricants, replace filters and check fluid levels of vehicles. Duties may include checking vehicle components such as spark plugs, fan belts, tail pipes, hoses and similar items. May be required to rotate, balance, repair or replace tires. Operates cash register. Conducts oil changes. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
• Must available Monday through Saturday. Off Sunday.
• Health and Immunizations are required.
