This position is located at Automotive Skills and Service Center Refusal of a military spouse to participate in established recruitment procedures for a RFT or RPT position (for example, interview) is considered a declination of employment and is a basis for termination of SEP entitlement for the current PCS of the sponsor. Duties

Identifies improperly functioning parts for repair or replacement using on-board computer diagnostic systems and other test equipment. Determines whether parts should be cleaned or replaced. Install, adjust and set automotive systems in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and tests the completed product. Decides on the methods and techniques to use. Stands and works in uncomfortable positions for extended periods. Frequently lifts objects weighing up to 70 pounds. Duties are performed independently in accordance with accepted trade practices and guides.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
• Health and immunizations are required.
• Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday. Tools will be provided.

Qualifications
