About the Position: The mission of the Corpus Christi Army Depot is to overhaul, repair, modify, retrofit, test and modernize helicopters, engines and components for all services and foreign military customers. Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) is the Army's Center of Industrial and Technical Excellence for Rotary Wing Aviation Maintenance. We provide worldwide on-site maintenance services, aircraft crash analysis, lubricating oil analysis, and chemical, metallurgical and training support.

Duties

Use Logistics Modernization Program to review and execute daily, weekly and monthly workload schedules considering status of work in progress (WIP), priorities, special projects, availability of materials. Use Logistics Modernization Program (LMP) and Complex Assembly Manufacturing Solution (CAMS) to monitors status of WIP quantity, man-hours and cost in order to detect delays, identify the cause of delays, and recommend corrective actions. Communicate with IPT personnel, such as program managers, material managers, and MDM for long range planning of materials and/or parts. May operate material handling equipment (forklift, roll-lift, scooter, etc) to transport materials from and to customer work centers and/or staging areas. Identifies, classifies and verifies material prior to and after to maintain material integrity and inventory accountability.

Requirements

  • Must sign DA Form 5019-R (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical under the Drug Abuse Testing Program) and must pass urinalysis testing as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Employee may undergo and pass pre-appointment physical examination and meet established by OF 178.
  • Incumbent may be required to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance (Tier 3: Noncritical-Sensitive, Moderate Risk).
  • Must possess a valid state driver’s license. Must obtain and maintain a valid government driver’s license.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
