About the Position: This position is located at Fort Jackson, Richland, South Carolina. Moncrief Army Health Clinic is located on Fort Jackson, South Carolina and is part of the 82 square mile military installation located adjacent to the state capital of Columbia.

Duties

Represents the command in the administration of all equipment acquisition. Prepare reports, correspondence, etc., related to the functions of the section. Monitor the development and coordinates the approval of supporting project documentation. Interview and select candidates for subordinate vacant positions, and recommends promotion, detail, or reassignment of employees for such position. Independently assemble and/or compose a variety of interpretations of raw data from various sources.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position may require the incumbent to complete a one year supervisory probationary period.
  • A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.

OR Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Supply Chain Management. Note: You must upload a copy of your transcripts. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. Note: You must upload a copy of your transcripts. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: AccountabilityControl of FundsLeadership Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
