About the Position: The purpose of this position is to provide a wide variety of clerical and administrative services for the site office. This position requires extensive use of automation equipment and a wide range of software programs to provide support in timekeeping, purchasing, procurement, supply management, travel, personnel management and inventory control.

Duties

Prepare reports using word processing software, spreadsheets, databases, or presentation software to provide managerial support Performs digital file management such as scanning paper documents, uploading documents to data management software, saving and organizing file archives. Compose official correspondence such as memorandums and business letters from draft, verbal instruction, or software programs. Reviews correspondence for compliance with agency correspondence directives. Maintains the branch credit card insuring its proper use with Fiscal Law guidelines and prompt timely payment of bills. Reconcile purchase records with credit card invoices in accordance with policy and procedures. Serve as Timekeeper. Monitor records and documents of procurement actions to ensure compliance with procurement policy.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service(GS-05). OR Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Business Management, Business Administration, or Accounting. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget AdministrationClericalComputer Skills Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
