About the Position: This position is with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, Engineering & Construction Division, Construction Branch, Southern New Jersey Resident Engineer Office located in Gloucester City, NJ.

Duties

Maintain office supplies, property records, scheduling motor vehicle repair and maintenance service Prepare and type letters of invitation to using agency representatives to attend briefing. Responsible for the preparation of all travel orders, vouchers, and advances submitted to the District Office. Review all correspondence and reports for format and accuracy, and assures that reports are submitted in accordance, with pertinent directives.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Must possess a valid state issued driver's license or able to obtain.
  • Occasional travel - up to 20% of business related required.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
