About the Position: Cash Clerk Operations takes place within Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in the Nutrition Care Division. As cash clerk you will be working directly with hospital staff, collecting payment from the customers, and ensuring that the utensils / products are properly stocked. The hours of operations are 0545-1430 or 0945-1830; this is a rotating schedule.

Duties

Greet diners entering the dining hall. Post price changes for meals to menu board. Clean and stock dining hall area throughout shift; to include changing tablecloths, wiping counters/ tables and chairs, removing dirty trays/dishes, and refilling condiments and paper products. Operate an electric cash register and make correct change. Recognize and reconcile transaction discrepancies found in cash tapes. Count cash and reconcile total cash balances with cash register tapes.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 6. Then divide your semester hours of education by 30. Add the two percentages.
