About the Position: The Corps of Engineers, Riverdale Office is one of two Field Offices on Lake Sakakawea. Lake Sakakawea is 160 miles long, and was created with the Garrison Dam on the Missouri River. Riverdale is the Project Office Headquarters is located 60 miles south of Minot, ND and 65 miles north of Bismarck, ND on scenic bluffs overlooking beautiful Lake Sakakawea. Duties

Responsible for maintaining credit card holder responsibilities to purchase supplies, materials and equipment required for the operation and maintenance of a multipurpose project according to all procurement rules and regulations. Ensure purchases are within the limits delegated and in compliance with all regulatory guidance, policy and law. Maintain office supplies as requested by other project office staff. Purchase a wide variety of replacement supplies, materials, equipment, parts, repair services, testing services or on-site repairs for multipurpose projects. Complete accounts payable and receiving documents. Oversee receipt of procured items, unloading and unpacking, verifying quantity, quality, and suitability of received items against purchase documents.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Incumbent may have access to the Secure Web Fingerprint Transaction (SWIFT) database/system, and, is responsible for obtaining and submitting employees' fingerprints via the SWIFT.
• Incumbent may be required to travel/perform Temporary Duty (TDY) 5% of the time.
• The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Non-Critical Sensitive with Secret access security clearance for the duration of employment in this position.

Qualifications

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1.) Experience with credit card purchases; AND 2.) Experience working with automated supply databases; AND 3.) Experience with performing inventory/property control. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05). OR Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Logistics Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 9.
