Duties

You will interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, principles, standards, and procedures to program and management analysis activities (e.g., performing investigations, inquires, reviews). You will analyze customer needs, specifications, or workload data to evaluate effectiveness in achieving objectives You will conduct interviews, focus groups, and meetings to obtain information on a project. You will Evaluate management studies, program management reviews, or foreign military sales organizational structures to develop process improvement strategies. You will identify productivity efficiencies and processes through the use of Lean Six Sigma or other methodology. You will develop presentations of analytical results for senior leaders or outside audiences. You will develop written process improvement recommendations to align with an organization's vision, goals, policies, and objectives.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. Emergency Overtime may be required.
  • This position requires prolonged standing, climbing, walking, crawling, kneeling, crouching, and reaching during investigations.
  • This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. I am willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

Qualifications

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrates providing information management services through the collection, preservation, and management of all forms, publications, or documents AND assisting in the implementation of program policies and procedures. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Demonstrates assessing the productivity, effectiveness, or efficiency of program operations; AND developing methods to improve the effectiveness in which programs are administered. Education

The required GS-09 specialized experience for this position, may be substituted by the following education:
  • Master's or equivalent graduate degree or
  • 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or
  • LL.B. or J.D., if related
The required GS-11 specialized experience for this position, may be substituted by the following education:
  • Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or
  • 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or
  • LL.M., if related
Applicant can also qualify through a combination of education and specialized experience which when combined equal 100%.
