You will serve as a WASTE MANAGEMENT WORK LEADER in the Temporary Services Shop, Production Resources Department of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.

Duties

You will receive, collect, handle, transport, store, package, process, dispose and ship nuclear and mixed hazardous materials and wastes. You will be responsible for generating, reviewing and maintaining records for service information, condition and location of radioactive material that may be stored/staged/worked at various locations. You will ensure that radioactive materials associated with naval nuclear propulsion plants are properly handled and not lost during movement between radiological controlled areas. You will respond to all radiological problems when required.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
