This position is located at Tobyhanna Army Depot Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation. This position is a Flexible (Flex) position. You may be regularly scheduled or scheduled on an as needed basis. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits. Duties

Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and common areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using brooms, mops, lightweight equipment such as vacuum cleaners and lightweight floor scrubbers, waxers, and buffers. Dusts waxes and polishes furniture and fixtures. Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes bathroom and toilet facilities. Empties trash. Make beds and changes linen. Washes mirrors, walls, windows, and blinds. Provides and replenishes toiletries and room condiments. Notes condition of room and report any conditions requiring maintenance or repair.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-15j.
• Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
• Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Current and Active Driver's license from one of the U.S. States or territories.

Qualifications

Applicant must be able to follow simple oral instructions and use hand, or light weight powered cleaning tools and equipment as described which generally require no prior training or previous work experience. Customer service experience is preferred.
