Duties

Lead a team in identifying, distributing and and balancing workload and tasks among employees Monitor and report on the status and progress of work. Prepare reports and maintain records of work accomplished and administrative information. Assist in organizing and participating in symposia and discussions with national and international scientific, public health and clinical practice leaders. Collaborate with staff members on the development and implementation of new program initiatives, innovations in structure, and communication systems. Provide leadership for DCCPS in responding to Congressional inquiries and develop materials for Congressional hearings. Monitor projects and activities for programmatic compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Requirements

Qualifications

In order to qualify at the GS-14 level, you must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of qualifying experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: developing short and long range plans for public health programs; monitoring public health programs to ensure they are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations; providing public health program consultation and policy guidance; coordinating negotiations between public health stakeholders; establishing and maintaining working relationships and cooperation with multiple public heath stakeholders; and providing leadership and direction to other staff in accomplishing work activities.
