About the Position: Incumbent serves as Chief of Transportation & Maintenance Division, for the Directorate of Logistics. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities associated with transportation and maintenance of personnel, supplies and equipment for the USAG, Adelphi Laboratory Center and Blossom Point (BPT).

Duties

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all activities associated with transportation and maintenance of personnel, supplies and equipment for the USAG, Adelphi Laboratory Center and Blossom Point. Advises the Directorate of Logistics on matters concerning policies and program guidance and conducts analysis of IMCOM transportation programs. Develops transportation management and operating standards for the command to ensure maximum utilization of resources and compliance with higher headquarters policies and directives.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Secret security clearance is required.
  • Business travel is approximately 10%.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
