This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Business & Technical Management Career Path to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Provides life cycle software support to CECOM Army Shared Services (SSC).

Duties

Support SAP software development, maintenance, and operation activities. Interact with product management, project management and SAP development teams to develop a strong understanding of the ERP systems and automated testing objectives. Support the organization with adopting best business practices for test automation, infrastructure, processes, reporting, and metrics. Design and create test conditions and scripts to perform automated testing that addresses business and technical use cases. Provide leadership and oversight to the organization's test automation strategy, standards, processes, and structure.

• This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
• Selectees must meet position requirements for Engineering and Technical Management within 60 months of entrance on duty.
• Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.

AND Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02) in the Federal service which includes: 1) Utilizing test automation tools such as Tricentis to create, execute, manage, and analyze automated test scripts and processes for SAP applications across an enterprise; 2) designing and developing organizational strategies to automate testing processes; 3) creating metrics and preparing test reports related to automated test execution; 4) Implementing process improvements within organizations. Some Federal jobs allow education to be substituted for experience. This position DOES NOT allow the substitution of education. This non-supervisory position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-13, step 10 base salary.
