About the Position: Serve as an Administrative Officer for CECOM Life Cycle Management Command Group and Special Staff Command Group Off of the SGS (AAB), at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

Duties

Provides guidance and assistance to Command Group Senior Leaders and HQs staff Serves as the Training Program POC within the Command Group ensuring the implementation of the annual CECOM Training Plan. Serves as the primary point-of-contact for manpower, human resources, budget, security, safety, facilities management, purchasing, and property management. Serve as the Command Group Billing Official and monitor all Command Group Cardholder Monthly Bank Statement reconciliations. Receive, staff, and maintain current administrative regulations, procedures, and policy statements promulgated within the command and by higher headquarters. Direct Command Group Official Mail and Post Distribution operations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Helping management to identify its financial, personnel, and material needs and/or problems. 2) making sure that funds are used in accordance with the operating budget; and 3) advising organization on negotiating contracts, agreements, and cooperative arrangements with other government agencies, universities, or private organizations..This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-01 (GS-04/05). OR Education: Two full years of graduate education or a master's degree (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts) in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-02 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-05 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-11 grade step 10 in the broadband. Management has decided to hire at the GS-09 or GS-11 grade level for this position.
