About the Position: This position is located at the Logistics Readiness Center at Fort Leonard Wood. Fort Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Missouri Ozarks. The Fort covers more than 61,000 acres and is located in Pulaski County, Missouri. Bordering the installation to the North are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is a little more than an hour's drive to the West of Fort Leonard Wood.

Duties

Maintain and update unit delegation of authority for issue or turn-in. Maintain property book to include accuracy of entries recorded. Serve as appointments clerk to coordinate individual and unit issue/turn-in appointments. Receive and process individual and unit rosters of issues or turn-ins to include actual data input and preparation of issue worksheets. Assist property book/accountable officer in the safeguarding of property under Central Issue Section control.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent is subject to a medical clearance examination prior to employment. This position may require an annual physical or medical surveillance examination.

OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of by 60.
