This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, headquartered in Washington, District of Columbia. Duties

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY: As the Director of Stakeholder Engagement, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Leading the overall development and implementation of stakeholder meetings and partnership programs between the internal ACF colleagues and external organization partnerships. Developing relationships and partnerships on behalf of the Immediate Office of the Assistant Secretary. Developing strategic external engagement to prepare and deliver professional partnerships and relationships, tools and products. Developing working relationships with both internal colleagues and outside organizations who can partner with ACF to find the best solution to fulfill the agency mission, vision, values, and priorities. Putting together organizational plans that each colleague can coordinate effectively.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Minimum Qualifications: You must have one-year specialized experience to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service performing at least three (3) of the following: Lead the development of outreach strategies, identifying potential areas for collaboration, assessing gaps in the current outreach strategy, and/or implementing new and innovative outreach opportunities to ensure key corporate, nonprofit, health care, and/or youth-serving institutional engagement. Implement outreach events, such as meetings, site visits, roundtables, conference calls, town halls, listening sessions and informational meetings, by prioritizing and delegating key tasks. Advise leadership on engagement and outreach strategies to accomplish social services duties affecting children and families. Lead critical engagements, events, or strategies that foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to advance policy goals, agency initiatives and announcements.
