About the Position: This position is located at HTMS Equipment Warehouse/ ATAMC Equipment Warehouse Director for Administration Department of Logistics Bio-Medical Equipment Repair, work hours are 700-1600 with hour lunch.

Duties

Receive and/or expedite, Equipment, supplies and materials from the warehouse, prime vendor or vendors. Operate a forklift (4 ton) and other material handling equipment to deliver supplies and equipment to department. Reviewing, receive/turn in and generate documents via automated systems to include, but not limited to the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS). Conduct weekly inspections of all assigned equipment areas and identifies and turn in all un-serviceable equipment. Receives, stores, loads, and unloads a wide range of materials including, but not limited to, supplies, medical supplies, and equipment. Checks and assembles materials, processes shipping/distribution documents, and routes materials and equipment to correct locations and/or storage areas. Maintains demurrage and detentions records and accounts; and, prepares transportation discrepancy reports and freight claims for damages or other discrepancies in shipments. Loads material onto trucks or other conveyances and moves supplies within the various storage spaces during reallocation of space or taking of inventory.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent to have tuberculosis testing.
  • This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).
  • This position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
  • This position may require the incumbent to work on any day or shift, including PMs, nights, weekends, holidays, or on an "on call" basis, necessary to meet mission requirements.
  • This position has been designated ?Mission Essential?. In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations, the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Tier 1 security investigation or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • Moderate to heavy lifting up to 25 pounds is required.
  • Incumbent must possess a valid state driver?s license with a class 4 or 5 stamp.
  • Incumbent must possess a forklift license.
